  • What is a Sapphire Crystal?

Sapphire is an especially hard mineral (9 on the Mohs scale) that is preferred for watch crystals due to its scratch resistant properties.

  • What is SuperLuminova?

Super LumiNova is a compound that provides luminescence in contemporary watches. The Super LumiNova is charged with a light source and continues to emit lume for several hours after to enable legibility of time in low light.

  • What does power reserve mean?

Power reserve is the maximum amount of time in which a mechanical movement can power itself when the mainspring has been fully wound.  A bidirectional rotor inside of the caseback of your watch  winds the mainspring through movement of the wearer’s wrist.  When first purchased or not worn consistently the watch may not be running but will start with a few revolutions of the rotor. We recommend that you wind the crown 30-40 revolutions in order to ensure maximum power reserve and accuracy.

Timeless Aviator Spirit is an attribute and an attitude. It is a sense of adventure, exploration, and desire to push the boundaries of what is possible. An ambition to cut a new path and an eagerness to utilize all of one's skill sets to get there. The arrogance to believe, the confidence to act, and the humility to achieve.   • Will I receive updates on my order?

Yes, you will receive regular updates on your order status until you have taken delivery of your watch.

  • Will I be charged for my pre-order?

In order to reserve your watch we require pre-payment in full.
     

DELIVERY & RETURNS

  • How long does it take to receive my order?

The Field Concept 01 is stocked and ready to ship immediately.

The Escadrille 43 is not currently stocked. Your watch will be shipped upon completion of manufacturing and final inspection. 

  • Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do provide international shipping options.

  • Am I able to return my watch?

You are able to return your watch for any reason within 14 days of delivery. In order to be eligible for return, your watch must be unworn and in its original packaging.

WARRANTY

  • What is the warranty on my watch?

Your watch has a 2 year international warranty from the date of delivery on manufacturing defects. Should You encounter any concern with your Hadley Rille watch, please contact Hadley Rille to arrange for your watch to be shipped to an authorized Hadley Rille Service Center. Any work performed by any unauthorized third party service centers will void your warranty.

In order for work to be performed under warranty you will be required to present your watch, warranty card provided at time of purchase, and a description of the alleged defects. You are responsible for shipping costs which include but are not limited to packaging materials, postage, and insurance in returning your watch for repair.  If required repairs are not covered by this warranty you will be responsible for repair costs and costs related to returning the watch to you regardless of whether such repairs are performed at your request.

This warranty does not cover: straps, flight pouches, or defects and damage caused by: theft, fire, loss, or damage from natural causes, deliberate or accidental misuse, improper use, repair or servicing not provided by an Authorized Hadley Rille Service Center, and regular wear and tear.

  • Do your straps come with a warranty?

Our straps do not come with a warranty. However, if you feel that your strap has worn in an unreasonably short period of time please contact us at store@hadleyrille.com and we will be happy to assist you.

SERVICE & REPAIR

  • How often should my watch be serviced?

We recommend that your watch be serviced every 3-5 years.

  • Where can I have my watch serviced or repaired?

Only an authorized Hadley Rille Service Center is able to provide service and repair for your warranty to remain valid. Any work performed by a non-Hadley Rille authorized watchmaker will void the warranty. Contact us at inquiries@hadleyrille.com to schedule a service or repair.
