Hadley Rille is:
Rob Costin - songs, vocals, instruments, production.

Hadley RIlle is based in San Francisco.

Throughout the 90's Rob Costin was active in the New York City music scene, performing and collaborating with diverse talent at the OutMusic coffee house.

Positively adored in the OutMusic community, Costin has been a concert favorite in New York and San Francisco since the early 1990s...Endowed with a charming, almost shy sweetness, he has singlehandedly devised the catchiest and most subversive queer pop on the planet. Conceived and produced in his master studio in Soho, the tracks on his debut betray the naive yet knowing charm that is Costin. This is the kind of music you can't help but love, and can hum after hearing once. Costin has elevated synth-pop to a giddy art form.
- Will Grega, Gay Music Guide

Costin also contributed arrangement and production to Grant King's 1995 collaborative album, Let Love Out.

During the years straddling the millennium, after moving to the West Coast, he took a detour from music and applied his energies to visual art and software projects. HR9A is his first new music release in a decade.

Costin says of software-based music, "I think of the computer as a playground of sounds ... like a neighborhood playground, where you find a big object that might - or might not - be a boat or an fort. You fill in the details with your imagination. There's obviously not a real guitar or piano in the computer."
